Fathers Day

This years attempt at our fathers day framed picture for Marks office. As you can see I didn't get the perfect smiles I was hoping for. Back to the drawing board.

That's Uncomfortable

My kids are great sleepers (even as I write this I pat myself on the back) so when Jack wanted to sleep in our bed I thought, "one night couldn't hurt". This was Mark around midnight, no fun for anyone. Sorry Jack back to a story, a kiss, a hug, and a good night sleep in your own bed.

Messy Boys

I am having fun these days looking back to see how Porter is growing like Jackson. Taking the same pictures, dressing them alike, silly things like that. Okay so as I was looking for this old picture of Jack I found out that apparently Mark likes doing the same things with the boys also. The next two pics are both boys getting a close up under what I think is a dish towel..!? Dads are funny and play totally different than moms do. I think that's why God gave babies both parents because I would have never thought of that.

Diaper Disaster

I know this picture is blurry but it is my attempt to give a visual of how Porter is the most active kid and makes it nearly impossible to change his diaper. He started arching and squirming during his diaper change about 2 months ago. I am posting this because I want to be sure to remember the good and not so good times. I love him, I do, but by the end of a day with Porter I feel like I had just run a marathon. Although, if I am running a marathon everyday I guess I should be much thinner.

Concert in the Park

Summer concerts are the best. All cities have them and everyone should go. Jack loves music, Porter loves the sun and I just love to get out of the house.

Day with dad

Waiting on the curb in a small town for a train to pass. That's all we were doing, that's about all we do these days but some how it's amazing. Thanks Mark for being you!

Brotherly Love

My boys are growing at warp speed! I am so excited they have each other and with any luck you are looking at life long friends. So far so good, Porter thinks Jack is great at laughs at most everything he does. Jack on the other hand tolerates Porter until it comes to touching his toys then all bets are off, so we have some work to do.
